True growth, whether it’s mental, physical, or spiritual comes when you get knocked down- the elephant on your chest feeling. How will you respond to the adversity and use your leverage to escape? How will you respond when everything and everyone around you is gone or telling you to quit? You can go back to your comfort zone, keep hitting that fucking snooze button, or you can keep showing up—again and again and again. Make. The. Decision. You’re going to live this life on your level and no one else’s. Tonight, the stage is yours.
Skaneateles. Thank you for throwing everything you had at me. You pride yourself on your beauty and it shows. Your intentions are harmless but it’s evident you want to leave a mark—a big brother who picks on his younger—the respect is there and demanding, but you need to earn it.
Glen Haven Road is magical. Like, find a trailer and set roots kind of magical. Not Vincent Hill though. Vincent can go fuck itself.
My crew showed up on point when needed with smiles, muffins and cowbells and a huge shout out to the stranger on 41 who allowed me to fill up from his garden hose.
All things considered, feeling real good and healthy. Could also be the after party at the Skaneateles Brewery. These guys are really special and I’m grateful the dog-friendly brewery scene exists up here.
Haven’t decided what lake is next. Just going to enjoy today’s efforts and get back to work this week.
The support with Project 11 I’m continuing to receive daily, both through donations and personal stories is truly mind blowing. Until next time—keep moving forward.
